I have worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist for nearly 20 years, I specialised very early on in my career as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
I can assess and treat and diagnose all acute and chronic conditions relating to the spine including muscle injury, Mechanical Low back pain, disc injury, sciatica and all nerve pains, neck pain, mid back pain.
In addition, I can assess, treat and diagnose all joint aches, pains and sports injuries. ie shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles.
I have worked with the England Fell Running Association Physiotherapist for over 4 years, treating all manner of Sports Injuries and overuse problems.
I can offer advice and treatment on Osteoarthritis, Orthopaedic pre and post-operative conditions Eg Joint replacements, carpal tunnel release.
I am qualified in Acupuncture for Pain Relief, Headaches and Migraines.
I am qualified in Myofascia treatment and Kineseotape.
I work within Occupational Health in large corporate businesses, I can offer DSE Ergonomic assessment and recommendations to help improve and prevent Repetitive Strain Injury.
I am a Qualified Dru Yoga teacher-with over 2 years experience as a teacher but I have practiced Yoga for over 20 years.
I enjoy teaching new mums and their babies in Baby Yoga.
I have a passion for Yoga, exercise, Health and Well- being, my wide experience and wide range of skills and knowledge provides an effective, holistic approach to treatment, based on the person-not just the condition!
I am a black belt in Kick-boxing and enjoy coaching in a local club.
Out of work I am usually busy with my family life and enjoy Yoga, running, red wine and cheese!
